HPC Community Bus - from 07 August 2023 map and timetable
As the Hinkley Point C project prepares for future deliveries to come in via the refurbished Combwich Wharf, we are running large load escort training sessions, for the safety of local residents and road users. These training sessions mean that road users will experience some disruption along the C182 as they occur.
Each training session will involve 2 rolling roadblocks on the C182 between Combwich and the main site. Each rolling roadblock is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. This method, as opposed to a complete road closure, ensures we are minimising disturbance to local residents.
The next training session will take place on Thursday 22nd of June.
This will involve three (small) loads traveling along the C182 at the following times: Site to Combwich Wharf 09:00 10:45 13:30 Combwich Wharf to Site 09:45 11:30 14:15
We thank you in advance for your patience and support whilst we move some of the most critical pieces of equipment and infrastructure that will enable us to complete construction of the Nuclear Power station.
Kind regards The Hinkley Point C Community Relations Team
