Quiet Lanes Information & Video

If you have seen the March edition of Kilve News, you will have read an update on the Kilve Quiet Lanes project.

There’s a Residents’ Survey on the back page of the edition (further copies will be available from Kilve Stores or you can email bruceeyley@aol.com to request a copy).

We really need to hear your views! So, as a rather exciting incentive, there are three very lovely prizes to be won  – a wonderful magnum of red wine and two vouchers (each for two people) for a Hood Arms Sunday Lunch main course. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to return your survey by Friday 12th March.

We’ve created a short video, featuring some familiar faces, to explain a little more about the project. Just click on this link to watch it: https://youtu.be/zuDuR8yk51Q

We hope you enjoy the video and look forward to hearing your views.

Covid-19 Vaccination Appointments

The GP surgeries in West Somerset are working hard to vaccinate as many of our population as vaccine supply allows.
To facilitate this a new system is being introduced to enable patients to book into the Minehead Hospital site via a text message invitation.
The text message will take you to a link to book your appointment at Minehead Hospital site.
It will require confirmation of your date of birth but will never ask for bank details.
To assure you the message is genuine, it will state your GP surgery and the link when clicked on looks like the screen shot below.
Please share so that friends and family know this is a genuine invitation from your GP surgery.
We will continue to telephone patients without a mobile number registered so please do not call your surgery.
